These aren’t your everyday spices found in the grocery store. Here is our story and how we began.

 

Our story

It all started with the desire to make spice blends that are tastier and healthier for our families than what we could find in the grocery store. Next thing we knew our friends and families wanted refills, so our business was born!

We started with Sabroso (which was inspired by a trip to Italy) and moved on to create 5 more awesome blends! Plus, an occasional seasonal blend!

We are two long time friends in Inman, SC with a women owned, home-based spice blend company that specializes in organic, clean, healthy spice blends using responsibly sourced ingredients with no additives, preservatives or sugar. We take pride in the quality of our products and love to talk about them and share the benefits of cooking and eating at home with friends and family.

 

Organic ingredients chosen with care

We do not use any sugar, additives, fillers, or anti-clumping agents in our products so they should be kept in a cool dark place away from moisture. Do not sprinkle over steaming dishes straight from the jar! That will cause your blend to clump. Instead pinch straight from the jar (it’s easy due to the wide mouth packaging) or use a spoon or scoop.

Our products also fit into any eating lifestyle! They are ALL sugar free and with the 3 salt-free blends they can be used by people with pretty much any type of restrictive diet. From salt restrictive to gluten free, Keto and sugar free.

The blends are very versatile so be creative and use them in your favorite tried and true dishes. We even like to mix them together. The El Gusto and Rosa blend beautifully for chicken and other meats & veggies. Let our blends Spice Up Life in Your Kitchen. ENJOY!

  • I absolutely love all of the Cinch spices! I have used Cinch spices on every meat imaginable, including wild game, and lots of vegetables; even when we go camping and cook on an open fire. I really enjoy mixing them together to create new flavor profiles. El Gusto and Sabrosa go great together on chicken – especially on the grill or smoker!   • LOVE LOVE LOVE these spices. I have been using these spices from the very beginning. Catherine would bring me samples to work and I couldn’t wait for them to finally start selling them. My personal favorite is the Bayou Blend. I use it on everything from meats to fish and even veggies and pasta. I started giving them as gifts to family and friends and now they are constantly asking me for more. My brother won’t make spaghetti without the Sabrosa seasoning!   • Cinch Spices are my go to for adding flavor to our meals. My absolute favorite is the Bayou Blend! I love it on my salmon and chicken and it’s great on pasta. We use it instead of salt. The Sabroso is my son’s favorite for wings and fish. It’s great that it is locally made, and of course the sales women are amazing!
